As part of the EU-supported HelpAge International, the East Asia/Pacific network on Ageing is building its capacity to gather and enable representation of the views of older people across ASEAN. Working with and for older people, it aims to act as a partner to ASEAN governments on welfare and development issues associated with rapid population ageing. In July, HelpAge network from Cambodia, Vietnam and the Philippines gathered in Thailand for a workshop to produce a video highlighting older people’s initiatives and innovation to tackle problems faced by older generations across ASEAN.
