March 17, 2016 Comments (0) ASEAN, Culture & Education, Development, EU-ASEAN News

Inspired by the Bologna Process and the highly successful Erasmus scheme, the EU-funded programme “EU Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region”, or SHARE, has ramped up activities in support of ASEAN’s ambition to enhance regional higher education. Numerous policy dialogues have been initiated and work is being undertaken on quality assurance and qualification frameworks. An ASEAN-wide scholarship scheme to test regional credit transfer is in preparation and the first students are expected to study abroad in the second semester of 2017.
