Older people join global campaign to raise awareness of growing prevalence of diabetes

On World Health Day, campaign partners in Cambodia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam raised awareness of the increasing prevalence of diabetes and the need to take action to prevent and treat this common condition. Older men and women also discussed the high and growing prevalence of diabetes in older age groups with policy makers and service providers, promoting strategies to address the rise such as screening and education.
