First ever ARF Meeting on Trafficking in Persons takes place in Semarang

As a follow up of the EU’s initiative to include Trafficking in Persons as a priority area of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Work Plan on Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC), the first ever ARF Meeting on Trafficking in Persons took place back-to-back with the 15th ARF Intersessional Meeting on CTTC. Co-chaired by Indonesia and the EU, the meeting brought together more than 50 participants representing high ranking officials of ARF partners, and supported by a large number of European and Asian experts and practitioners.
