The EU’s ARISE project has embarked on an extensive training across all ASEAN Member States for government officials and private sector representatives to learn how to use the ASEAN Solution for Investment, Services and Trade (ASSIST). Being an internet based, free, and non-binding consultative mechanism, ASSIST is an effective solution to expedite cross-border operational problems encountered by ASEAN-based enterprises. Starting on 9 June, the training team has already been to Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Lao PDR, Cambodia, the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia. In the second half of July, it will cover Indonesia (18-19 July) and Brunei Darussalam (21-22 July) as well. For more information, please see the press release and watch the 1-minute video.
