134 ASEAN undergraduate students – out of which 80% are women – from 29 ASEAN Universities in 7 ASEAN countries each receive a fully funded scholarship to spend one semester of study abroad in another ASEAN country, funded under the “EU Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region” (SHARE) project. For this second call for applications, SHARE received more than 300 applications, more than half of which came from the CLMV countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam). The scholarship is part of SHARE’s work designed to encourage ASEAN student mobility and to test the application of an ASEAN-wide credit transfer system. For more information, please see the SHARE website.
