Representatives of the ASEAN Committee on the Implementation of the Declaration on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Migrant Workers (ACMW) and the ASEAN Secretariat visited Brussels to learn from the European experience on the free movement of persons in the EU, access to employment and relevant rights and obligations. During the visit, the ACMW representatives exchanged views with the EU officials in charge of international cooperation and development, employment, migration and home affairs. The visit was facilitated by the EU’s READI Human Rights Facility, supporting policy dialogue in the areas of human rights, rights of women and children, and migrant workers.
